Firehawk Aerospace in Texas seeks an experienced Logistics professional to lead packaging, handling, and shipping of energetics and weapon systems for defense programs. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, safety protocols, and secure movement of sensitive assets.

You will coordinate with government agencies, contractors, and transport providers, manage hazardous materials storage, and ensure documentation and chain-of-custody accuracy across complex shipments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional certifications preferred (e.g., APICS, CSCMP, Dangerous Goods).
• Minimum 5 years of logistics experience with energetics, explosives, or weapon systems.
• Experience in packaging and specifications requirements review for hazardous materials.
• Experience with government contracting and defense logistics protocols.
• Knowledge of military logistics systems and procedures.
• Experience with explosive safety and regulatory compliance.
• Hazardous materials regulations (49 CFR, IATA DGR, IMDG Code).
• Proficiency in logistics software systems (ERP, WMS, TMS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office suite proficiency.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance.
• Clean background investigation.
• Ability to handle sensitive and classified information.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute packaging and shipping of energetics and weapon systems.
• Develop and maintain logistics plans for complex defense materials.
