Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking a Server to greet Guests, offer thoughtful menu suggestions, and provide quick, friendly service in a fast-paced cinema environment. You are the vital link between Guests and the kitchen staff, ensuring orders are accurate and served promptly.

Ideal candidates have strong guest service skills, basic cash handling abilities, and can work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Experience in a full-service restaurant is a plus; fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Proof of age and eligibility to serve alcohol as per local/state regulations.
• Basic food handling training or certification if required by location.
• Safe Alcohol Service training completion for staff serving alcohol.
• Prior serving or bar experience in a full-service setting preferred.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Regular and reliable attendance is expected.
• Energetic, friendly attitude with strong guest service orientation.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Good interpersonal communication with guests of all ages and backgrounds.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently and follow directions.
• Ability to converse in English clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner.
• Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items to enhance the Guest experience.
• Accurately records food and beverage orders from Guests in a timely manner.
• Verify identification to confirm Guests are at least 21 for alcohol transactions.
• Ensure alcohol is consumed in designated areas only.
• Seat Guests when applicable.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to maximize service.
• Collaborate with kitchen to ensure accuracy of orders.
• Deliver food and beverages within established timeframes.
• Maintain cleanliness of high-contact areas and PPE usage.
• Adapt to cleaning tasks and safety procedures as required.
• Monitor safety and security issues and report to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
