Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Server or Bartender.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of health and sanitation code and policies.
• Organized with strong attention to detail.
• High integrity and professionalism.
• A positive, joyful, upbeat and energetic attitude – leading by example.
• Must be 18 years old or older, the legal age to serve and/or bartend.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which will include days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to work eight hour-plus shifts, plus ability to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time, walk up and down stairs.
• Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, ever changing work environment.
• Previous high volume experience.
• Strong knowledge of beer and cocktail programs.
• Experience with POS and KDS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service.
• Recognize guests' needs before they realize what they need.
• Convey enthusiasm for our food and beverage menus while knowing the menu and allergies.
• Work as a team and support fellow staff.
• Process transactions using the POS system and track orders.
• Follow the steps of service.
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age.
• Keep the server stations stocked and your section clean.
• Review daily tasks checklist to prepare the dining area for service.
• Run food, bus tables, and contribute to the guest experience.
• Comply with health, safety and hygiene standards and policies.
• Perform all other duties as needed.
