Level99 Entertainment in West Hartford, CT is hiring a friendly Server to deliver exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced entertainment venue. You will welcome guests, explain the menu, and ensure seamless service for both dining and gameplay. This role pays $6.38 per hour plus tips and requires the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Flexible scheduling including nights and weekends is expected. Level99 is an E-Verify employer.

OVERVIEW

A Server at Level99 provides exceptional hospitality, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all restaurant guests and entertainment players with genuine enthusiasm. They anticipate guest needs, possess extensive food and beverage knowledge, and work effectively with the team to ensure seamless and exemplary service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Warmly greet guests ensuring a warm welcoming but not overbearing table presence
• Be present and attentive by recognizing visual cues of guests’ needs before they realize what they need
• Convey enthusiasm for our food and beverage menus while maintaining proper knowledge of the menu and food allergies within dishes
• Work as a team at all times, looking to support one another and prioritize on behalf of the guest
• Accurately process transactions using the POS system including guest payments and order tracking
• Understand and follow the steps of service
• Check identification of guests to verify they are of legal drinking age
• Be proactive about keeping the server stations stocked and your section clean and clear
• Review daily tasks checklist to have the dining area clean and ready for service
• Run food, bus tables and contribute the guest experience
• Comply with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies
• Perform all other duties as needed

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

• Previous experience as a Server or Bartender
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of health and sanitation code and policies
• Organized with strong attention to detail
• High integrity and professionalism
• A positive, joyful, upbeat and energetic attitude – leading by example
• Must be 18 years old or older, the legal age to serve and/or bartend
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which will include days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Able to work eight hour‑plus shifts, plus ability to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time, walk up and down stairs
• Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, ever changing work environment

OTHER DESIRABLE (BUT NOT NECESSARY) SKILLS & EXPERIENCE INCLUDE

• Previous high volume experience
• Strong knowledge of beer and cocktail programs
• Experience with POS and KDS systems

$6.38 - $6.38 an hour

This role will pay an hourly rate plus tips.

While we don’t expect a candidate to have deep experience in all of the above, we’re looking for someone with the passion and capability to learn quickly in the areas that are new!
