The Kitchen Bistro in Austin is a community gathering spot with a seasonal menu and modern, rustic atmosphere. The Server Assistant role supports the team to maintain an inviting environment and high standards of service.

We’re looking for a high-energy, outgoing individual who is eager to learn, adaptable, and passionate about hospitality. This full-time position offers a supportive team, growth opportunities, and an emphasis on community connections.

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Energetic, outgoing and eager to learn.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 and able to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest relations and provide timely, quality service.
• Attention to detail; promote teamwork.
• Support servers by greeting tables, refilling water, and coordinating course timing.
• Assist with side work and opening/closing duties.
• Demonstrate hospitality and conscientiousness in interactions.
• Promote the restaurant's community and eco-conscious culture.
• Assist with all duties to support the team during service.
• Maintain a fun, engaging atmosphere and help grow the brand.
