Job summary

Five Below is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member to greet and assist shoppers in a fast-paced environment. You will share product knowledge, suggest items, and promote in-store events while ensuring excellent service.

The role requires strong communication, adaptability, and a willingness to learn. You’ll work collaboratively with the team to meet store goals and deliver a WOW experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Flexible schedule availability is required.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (computers, cash registers, handheld and mobile devices).
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions politely and professionally.
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
• Learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly, engaging with multiple customers as needed.
• Understand customer needs by sharing product knowledge and offering recommendations.
• Inform customers about events, promotions, and activities to boost sales.
• Address customer concerns and offer solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Regularly relay merchandise needs and feedback to management.
• Collaborate with the team to help achieve store objectives and a positive work environment.
