The role emphasizes strong knowledge of Pilates principles, anatomy, and modification options, with opportunities for ongoing education and studio involvement. Part-time schedule expected, with early mornings, days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Pilates certification from a recognized program.
• Education or certification covering Reformer Pilates.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and safe movement.
• Ability to confidently teach and manage a group fitness environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide modifications and progressions based on client needs.
• Professionalism, reliability, and team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to receive coaching and continued education.
• Current CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, engaging, and effective group Reformer Pilates classes.
• Provide clear verbal instruction on setup, movement, breath, and form.
• Educate clients on movement mechanics and Pilates principles.
• Offer modifications and progressions for different experience levels.
• Maintain awareness of the room and provide individualized corrections.
• Create an inclusive environment and build client relationships.
• Learn and use the Aurum Reformer and its capabilities.
• Follow class programming, safety protocols, and equipment standards.
• Prepare studio and equipment before class; reset after sessions.
• Arrive prepared, professional, and on time for commitments.
• Communicate scheduling, coverage, and client concerns with leadership.
• Participate in continuing education, trainings, and practice teaching.
• Represent the brand professionally inside and outside the studio.
• Support events and community activations as needed.
