Responsibilities

Position Overview

Pilates Addiction Las Vegas is seeking passionate, energetic, and community-driven Pilates Educators to join our growing team.

At Pilates Addiction, we call our instructors Educators because we believe exceptional Pilates goes beyond leading clients through exercises. Our Educators teach movement with purpose, help clients understand their bodies, provide thoughtful modifications and progressions, and create an environment where every client feels supported, challenged, and successful.

The ideal Educator brings a strong understanding of Pilates principles, anatomy, movement mechanics, and Reformer-based exercise while also possessing the personality and presence needed to create an engaging group fitness experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Pilates Educator, you will:

• Lead safe, engaging, and effective group Reformer Pilates classes using Pilates Addiction programming, standards, and class formats.

• Provide clear, confident, and continuous verbal instruction throughout class, including exercise setup, movement patterns, transitions, breath, form, and intention.

• Educate clients on proper movement mechanics and Pilates principles rather than simply demonstrating exercises.

• Offer appropriate modifications, regressions, and progressions to accommodate different experience levels, abilities, injuries, and movement needs.

• Maintain awareness of the entire room while providing individualized corrections and support when appropriate.

• Create a welcoming, inclusive environment for clients of all backgrounds, body types, fitness levels, and Pilates experience.

• Build genuine relationships with clients and contribute to a strong sense of community within the studio.

• Learn and confidently utilize the Pilates Addiction Aurum Reformer and its unique capabilities.

• Follow Pilates Addiction class programming, safety protocols, equipment standards, and studio procedures.

• Prepare the studio and equipment before class and ensure Reformers and shared spaces are properly reset following class.

• Arrive prepared, professional, and on time for all scheduled classes, meetings, trainings, and studio commitments.

• Maintain reliable communication with studio leadership regarding scheduling, coverage, client concerns, incidents, and other operational needs.

• Participate in continuing education, team trainings, workshops, practice teaching, and ongoing development opportunities.

• Represent the Pilates Addiction brand professionally both inside and outside of the studio.

• Support studio events, community activations, promotional classes, and other Pilates Addiction initiatives as needed.

• Help create an energetic client experience through intentional music, pacing, coaching, encouragement, and connection.

Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have:

• Pilates certification from a recognized training program; comprehensive certification strongly preferred.

• Education or certification covering Reformer Pilates.

• Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, alignment, and safe movement principles.

• Ability to confidently teach and manage a group fitness environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to provide modifications and progressions based on individual client needs.

• Professionalism, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset.

• Willingness to receive coaching, feedback, and continued education.

• Current CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain certification within the required timeframe.

Previous group fitness or teaching experience is preferred; however, candidates with strong Pilates education, movement knowledge, and coaching potential are encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements

This position may require the ability to:

• Stand and move throughout the studio for extended periods.

• Demonstrate Pilates exercises and movement patterns when appropriate.

• Kneel, squat, bend, reach, and transition between standing and floor-level positions.

• Adjust and move Pilates equipment, including Reformer components and accessories.

• Provide hands-on assistance or tactile cueing when appropriate and with client consent.
