Job summary

Birons Youth Sports Center is seeking an energetic part-time NinjaZone coach to work evenings in Houston. You will guide kids through fun, dynamic classes that blend obstacle course training, gymnastics, and martial arts.

The role emphasizes safety, motivation, and positive communication with parents across multiple age groups. Experience with martial arts is preferred, with classes running weekday afternoons and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience with martial arts preferred.
• Able to operate at a high activity level.
• Strong yet caring character capable of managing a group of young boys or girls independently.
• Contagiously energetic personality.
• Positive outlook on situations and challenges.
• High level of maturity, initiative, and work ethic.
• Experience and a genuine love for working with kids.

Responsibilities

• Coach NinjaZone classes for kids aged 3–18.
• Lead warm-ups and dynamic stretching.
• Develop fine and gross motor skills.
• Conduct obstacle course training and introductory gymnastics rolls/skills.
• Teach dance moves and martial arts techniques.
• Manage groups of kids and ensure safety supervision.
• Communicate with parents at the end of each class.
