Job summary

Houston Gymnastics Academy is seeking an Entry-Level Gymnastics and Ninja Coach to teach and inspire young athletes in gymnastics and ninja skills. The schedule is variable, including evenings and weekends, with a preference for 3 days of consistency each week.

This part-time role offers hands-on coaching in a friendly, supportive environment. You will coach basic to intermediate gymnastics and ninja skills, provide positive feedback, and communicate with families while helping students reach

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Availability to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Passion for gymnastics and working with children.
• Previous gymnastics experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coaching basic to intermediate gymnastics and ninja skills, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment
• Providing positive reinforcement and constructive feedback to help athletes improve their skills
• Communicating effectively with children, parents, and fellow coaches
• Learning new techniques, spotting methods, and progressions to challenge students
• Assisting with special events, including camps, clinics, birthday parties, and open gyms
• Adaptable to schedule changes and available for additional events as needed
