Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical, materials science, aerospace, mechanical engineering, or related STEM discipline.
• Experience handling hazardous chemicals including oxidizers, acids, and explosives.
• R&D experience in materials, design of experiments and statistical data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and scale energetic materials from lab to pilot and production.
• Handle and test energetic materials and related processes with safety and rigor.
• Acquire and analyze data using instruments (LabView, sensors, high-speed data).
• Support production scale-up and pilot plant operations at PSI facilities.
