Job summary

Ameristar Casino Resort Spa in Colorado is accepting applications for restaurant servers. Candidates must be 18+ for most positions, 21+ for beverage roles. Responsibilities

• Take orders, input orders into the computer, and deliver orders within Sportsbook and Poker areas.
• Greet guests with a smile and pleasant disposition in a timely manner.
• Must be familiar with menu, daily specials, and preparation of foods and prices.
• Use suggestive selling (e.g., cocktails, appetizers, desserts).
• Take customer orders and input the order into the computer.
• Observe and anticipate guests’ needs, keep the table clear between courses, and beverages filled.
• Complete assigned side work and additional daily tasks.
• Inform supervisor if situations arise with guests or employees that cannot be handled.
• Other duties as assigned for guest service expectations in restaurant.
