Job summary
Orangetheory Fitness -- West Coast Fitness is seeking a Fitness Coach to lead our heart-rate-based, full-body workouts. You will motivate members, ensure correct form, and help them reach goals in a high-energy studio setting.
Ideal candidates hold a current fitness certification and AED/CPR. This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a flexible schedule to coach at least 8 classes weekly. On-site position with growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current fitness certification from an approved education company (ACE, NASM, AFAA, NSCA, ACSM, ISSA).
- Current AED/CPR certificate required; ongoing CE hours outside OTF curriculum encouraged.
- Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills; team player mindset.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate members through pre-defined workouts.
- Help members set and achieve fitness goals.
- Ensure correct form and provide corrections as needed.
- Understand heart-rate-based training science and stay aware of industry trends.
- Be a collaborative team player and immerse in studio culture.
- Available to coach a minimum of 8 classes per week.
- Duties may evolve with the studio's needs.
