Job summary

Blue Moon TapHouse in Norfolk, VA is seeking a friendly Busser/Runner to support the serving staff and help deliver energetic, professional service in a bustling waterside venue. You will clear, clean and reset tables, maintain clean service stations, and assist guests with menus while communicating clearly with coworkers.

Prior restaurant or customer service experience is preferred; fluent English is required; nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Must speak fluent English.
• Prior customer service and/or restaurant experience preferred.
• Reading and writing abilities are utilized often to answer guest’s questions regarding the menu.
• Basic mathematical skills are used frequently.

Responsibilities

• Provide an energetic, outgoing, fun personality while maintaining professionalism.
• Perform varied duties to ensure all aspects of the proper steps of service.
• Offer polite, professional, and courteous customer service.
• Support serving staff, assisting them in ensuring that all customer needs are met in an expedient, courteous, and professional manner.
• Maintains service stations in a clean and orderly manner throughout shift.
• Clear and clean tables in a timely manner.
• Restock service stations.
• Clear all empty tables and set tables for new guests.
