Sunny Day Child Care & Preschool, Inc. seeks an Assistant Teacher to support teachers and the director in creating a caring, safe learning environment. You will assist with developmentally appropriate activities and document children's progress for families.

You will collaborate with staff, model positive behavior, and help maintain classroom routines while helping children grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be energetic and able to work in a busy childcare setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with parents and staff.
• Strong understanding of child development and safety practices.
• Ability to lead activities and maintain classroom routines.

Responsabilités

• Assist in implementing curricula and encourage participation.
• Engage in activities; manage classroom materials and cleanliness.
• Communicate with parents through discussions and progress reports.
• Model good hygiene and self-help skills for children.
• Support daily transitions from home to the center.
• Follow center policies and state regulations.
• Maintain professional development plans for quality improvement.
