Job summary

Palmetto Preschool in Wilmington, NC is seeking an Afterschool & Summer Camp Assistant to join our Myrtle Grove team. This part-time role runs Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–5:30 PM, supporting afterschool activities and the summer program with field trips and outdoor play.

You’ll build relationships with children, assist with homework, crafts, and events, and help supervise in a safe, fun environment alongside a supportive team. Valid driver's license is required for transports.

Qualifications

• EDU 119 or willingness to enroll within six months of employment.
• Previous childcare, camp, coaching, education, or youth program experience preferred.
