Job summary

Code Ninjas of Fullerton is seeking an After School Coding Instructor to join our energetic center. You will help run after-school sessions for groups of 10–25 students, ages 5–10, and support Senseis in delivering lessons on coding, robotics, game design, 3D printing and circuitry.

You'll help maintain a positive, structured learning environment, engage students, and reinforce concepts with individual and small-group support, collaborating closely with the Center Director and fellow Senseis.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Enjoy teaching and building problem-solving skills in young minds.
• Mentored youth or tutoring experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading after-school sessions for groups of 10–25 students, ages 5–10.
• Support Senseis in delivering lessons on coding, robotics, game design, 3D printing, and circuitry.
• Help manage classroom flow and maintain a positive, structured learning environment.
• Engage with students to keep them focused, on task, and supported during activities.
• Reinforce key concepts from the curriculum through 1:1 and small group assistance.
• Prepare materials before class and assist with cleanup after sessions.
• Collaborate with the Center Director and co-Senseis to ensure sessions run smoothly.
