Job summary

Complete Care is seeking an energetic Activities Aide to join our Wisconsin team. This part-time role requires every other weekend and involves creating engaging, meaningful programs for older adults in our care facility.

You will implement activities, monitor safety, assist residents, coordinate with the Activities Director, and help foster a joyful, inclusive environment throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Energetic, fun-loving by nature, able to engage residents effectively.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently or in a group to manage daily tasks.
• Basic computer knowledge for record-keeping and communication.

Responsibilities

• Implement scheduled programs accessible and safe for all residents.
• Monitor resident behavior during activities and communicate observations to nursing staff.
• Maintain attendance calendars and activity documentation for care planning.
• Assist in preparing and displaying holiday decorations to create a festive atmosphere.
• Engage residents in group and one-on-one activities to encourage social interaction.
• Coordinate with the Activities Director to plan new activities based on resident interests.
• Set up and break down activity areas; ensure supplies are stocked and stored.
• Assist residents with mobility and transportation to activities.
• Keep the activities area clean and organized; report needs to Director of Activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Activities and Administrator.
