Job summary

Treat Public Relations is seeking a part-time Public Relations Intern based in Orange County, CA. You will support our leaders by aiding strategic campaigns, drafting materials, and coordinating media outreach for endurance events.

This remote internship runs Sep 2026 through Dec 2026, up to 20 hours per week, with travel to select events. Ideal candidates are current students or recent grads in PR, communications, or journalism who write clearly and learn quickly.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently earned a Bachelor's degree in PR, communications, journalism, or related liberal arts.
• Strong writing skills and AP style proficiency.
• Ability to work remotely and manage schedules independently.
• Willingness to travel to client events, including cross-country trips.

Responsibilities

• Support with media relations and client campaigns.
• Draft press materials, media advisories, and pitches.
• Assist with media lists, credentialing, and monitoring.
• Coordinate with teams during client meetings and internal updates.
• Prepare social media copy and email marketing content.
