Job summary

Gartner is seeking a Security Engineer to strengthen vulnerability management and endpoint security across associate devices. Responsibilities include prioritizing vulnerabilities, coordinating remediation, and supporting the Elevated Privilege Management platform.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or endpoint security.
• Experience prioritizing vulnerabilities and coordinating remediation.
• Knowledge of endpoint protection, vulnerability scanning, app control, software inventory, and Windows security.
• Ability to assess software risk, permissions, dependencies and business need.
• Strong communication skills to explain risks to diverse audiences.
• Detail-oriented, able to manage priorities and drive remediation to completion.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and prioritize endpoint vulnerabilities by risk and business impact.
• Coordinate and track remediation, escalate high-risk issues, report status, and validate actions.
• Support and improve Elevated Privilege Management platform.
• Assess software risks and maintain controls for approved applications.
• Review endpoint configurations to identify security gaps and strengthen controls.
• Develop security metrics, reports, risk updates, and supporting documentation.
• Automate recurring security analysis, reporting, validation, and endpoint processes.
• Partner across teams to advance vulnerability and endpoint security while staying current on threats and technologies.
