Job summary

Gartner is seeking a Security Engineer to strengthen vulnerability management and endpoint security across associate devices. The role includes coordinating remediation, supporting Elevated Privilege Management, and evaluating software for allowed applications.

You will develop security metrics, automate processes, and collaborate across teams to stay ahead of threats while delivering clear risk reporting and documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cybersecurity or vulnerability management experience.
• Experience prioritizing vulnerabilities, coordinating remediation, and validating completion by risk and business impact.
• Knowledge of endpoint protection, vulnerability scanning, application control, software inventory, configuration management, and Windows security.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and prioritize endpoint vulnerabilities by risk and impact.
• Coordinate remediation, escalate high-risk issues, report status, and validate actions.
• Support and improve Gartner's Elevated Privilege Management platform.
• Assess software risk and enforce controls for approved applications.
