Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Georgia seeks an Endpoint Management Specialist to act as SME and administrator for endpoint tools including Intune and Workspace ONE. The role supports multiple departments and locations, applying standardized procedures to improve user experience.

You will deploy software distribution, patch management, and policy enforcement, document processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet security standards and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required plus 5 years IT experience.
• In lieu of degree, 8 years IT experience may be considered.
• Experience in PCs, laptops, thin clients, AD/GP, AV, VOIP, network troubleshooting and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage endpoint management for software distribution, patch management, and configuration management.
• Configure tools to enforce policies, security updates, and accurate deployments.
• Document processes and share with other IT departments as necessary.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and policies based on business needs and security standards.
• Architect and implement solutions for technical requirements, automation, and process improvement.
• Provide on-call support and escalation support as needed.
• Manage project deliverables and timelines.

About the Role:

Job Summary

Operate as subject matter experts and administrators for endpoint management tools and services including mobile device management, hardware imaging, encryption, patching, and software deployment. Provide support to various departments and locations, depending on needs and demands, following appropriate protocols and procedures for each area. Research, formulate, recommend, and implement solutions, technologies, and processes to improve end-user experience and increase capabilities.

Minimum Job Qualifications

• Licensure or other certifications: Relevant technical certifications pertaining to software applications if applicable.

• Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree required plus 5 years of experience.

• Minimum Experience: In lieu of degree requirement, 8 years of IT experience may be considered. Technical experience is required in five more of the following areas required: PCs, laptops, thin clients, Active Directory/Group Policy, Audio/Visual, VOIP, Audio/Visual, network troubleshooting, and mobile devices as well as their associated peripherals and operating systems.

• Demonstrate the ability to learn emerging technologies and technical skills efficiently and effectively

• Demonstrated ability to handle high stress situations including critical healthcare situations and executive support

• Build positive relationships and inspire confidence with user community.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage endpoint management solutions to automate software distribution, patch management, and configuration management

• Configure and maintain endpoint management tools to ensure accurate and consistent policy enforcement, security measures, and software updates

• Ensure technical processes and procedures are properly documented and kept up to date. Share with other IT departments as necessary.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define endpoint management requirements and policies based on business needs and security standards

• Architect and implement solutions for technical requirements, automation, and/or process improvement.

• Provide on-call support and escalation support as needed

• Manage project deliverables and timelines.
