Job summary

Critical Solutions is seeking a Junior Endpoint Systems Analyst to support our federal customer at Pearl Harbor, Honolulu, HI. The role requires onsite access to classified environments and active DoD Secret clearance.

You will coordinate with engineering, operations, Service Desk, and Field Services to ensure deployments meet SLAs and compliance standards. Responsibilities include deploying software via MECM, validating success, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining deployment documentation

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold an active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• High school diploma with relevant experience in enterprise environments.
• DoD 8570.01-M/8140 IAT Level II certification such as Security+ CE.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows workstations in an enterprise context.
• Familiarity with MECM or similar endpoint-management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor deployments using MECM and approved tools.
• Validate deployment success and identify issues with endpoints.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures and endpoint connectivity problems.
• Coordinate remediation with engineering, Service Desk, and Field Services.

• Maintain schedules, logs, and documentation for deployments.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Critical Solutions is seeking a Junior Endpoint Systems Analyst to support our federal customer.

The candidate will coordinate with engineering, operations, Service Desk, Field Services, and other technical teams to ensure deployments are completed successfully and within established service-level requirements. This position requires onsite access to classified environments and may include supporting both NIPR and SIPR deployment activities.

PRIMARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute and monitor enterprise software, patch, driver, and configuration deployments using MECM and other approved endpoint-management tools.
• Validate deployment success and identify failed, pending, offline, or nonresponsive workstations.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures, client-health issues, software-installation errors, and endpoint connectivity problems.
• Coordinate remediation activities with engineering, Service Desk, Field Services, and site-support personnel.
• Support deployments across NIPR and SIPR environments.
• Maintain deployment schedules, status trackers, failure logs, and supporting documentation.
• Provide deployment status, compliance results, risks, blockers, and escalation information to leadership.
• Assist with workstation testing and validation before enterprise-wide deployment.
• Follow approved change-management, cybersecurity, and operational procedures.
• Create and update standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Provide onsite coverage required to perform work within classified environments.
• Support incident escalation and shift handoff activities when deployments extend beyond normal operating hours.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a U.S. citizen and possess an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher.
• High school diploma with relevant experience
• DoD 8570.01-M/8140 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows workstations in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with software deployment, patching, workstation troubleshooting, or endpoint administration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, formerly SCCM, or a similar endpoint-management platform.
• Ability to analyze deployment results, installation logs, error codes, and workstation status.
• Ability to document activities and communicate status, risks, and technical issues clearly.
• Ability to work onsite and access SIPR or other classified systems.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, operations, Service Desk, and Field Services teams.
• Preferred Qualifications:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with MECM, Tanium, Active Directory, PowerShell, or endpoint-reporting tools.
• Knowledge of application packaging, deployment collections, maintenance windows, and enforcement states.
• Experience supporting software, driver, security-agent, and Windows update deployments.
• Experience working with NIPR and SIPR systems.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, HPSM, or similar work-tracking tools.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and customer-service skills.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:

• Must possess and maintain a DoD 8570.01-M/8140 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. In addition, selected candidate must undergo background investigation (BI) and finger printing by the federal agency and successfully pass the preceding to qualify for the position. US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.

CRITICAL SOLUTIONS PAY AND BENEFITS:

Salary range $102,00 - $131,000. Salary range may vary depending on location.The salary range for this position represent the typical salary range for this job level and this does not guarantee a specific salary. Compensation is based upon multiple factors such as responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, certifications, and other requirements.
