Job summary

Dillard’s is hiring an Area Administrator to install, manage, and support endpoints and peripherals across the enterprise from our Little Rock, AR headquarters. You will lead by example, stay organized, and assist users with operating systems, applications, and related technology.

The role requires excellent communication, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and with teams. On-site work with potential on-call rotation is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user support across the Dillard’s environment.
  • Maintain PCI and other security requirements.
  • Install, configure, and sustain computers, peripherals, and software per standards.

  • Load operating systems and install/repair applications.
  • Test OS updates and upgrades before production deployment.
  • Coordinate software/hardware changes.
  • Troubleshoot issues to isolate causes.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Endpoint Services Team is looking for a hard-working, self-motivated individual to support our area customers. To be successful in this role, you must be an excellent communicator and very organized. We are looking for someone who can lead by example and inspire their fellow co-workers. The Endpoint Services Area Administrator is responsible for installing, maintaining, upgrading, securing, and supporting computer endpoints and peripherals throughout the enterprisewhile assisting users with technical support of the operating systems, applications, and other related technology.

The Area Team provides support that is critical to the overall success of Dillard’s. This team supports all Dillard’s users in implementing and maintaining the devices and solutions used to do their jobs. WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Support for all end users in the Dillard’s environment
  • Maintain compliance with PCI and other Security Requirements
  • Installation, configuration, and sustained usability of computers, their associated peripheral equipment, and software within established standards and guidelines
  • Utilize software automation to improve efficiency
  • Use available tools to load Operating Systems and to install/repair applications
  • Test OS updates, application upgrades, and new products prior to installation in production environments
  • Coordinate implementation of software and hardware changes
  • Quickly troubleshoot problems to isolate the cause
  • Interface with other Dillard’s associates, both technical and non-technical
  • Work with 3rd party vendors for installation/support of software applications and hardware solutions
  • Use available tools including AI to monitor endpoints for proactive issue remediation
  • Follow group standards and policies
  • Keep physical inventory and installation records current
  • Participate in on‑call rotation
THE “MUST-HAVES”
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Ability to work onsite at Corporate Headquarters in Little Rock, AR
  • Previous experience installing and supporting hardware, operating systems, applications, and peripherals
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Self‑motivated with a positive attitude
  • Clear, open communication coupled with strong problem‑solving & analytical skills
  • Proficient with Windows 10, Windows 11, Macintosh, and mobile operating systems
  • Proficient with scripting tools, ticketing systems, and other related applications
  • Familiar with networking concepts
  • Basic hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to maintain poise and efficiency during hectic situations
  • Ability and desire to adapt to changing technologies
  • Ability to work independently and in teams while managing multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to plan and manage changes in a production environment while minimizing user impact
  • Must be available to work outside of regular business hours as needed
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
THE “NICE-TO-HAVES”
  • PowerShell and Windows 10/11 experience
  • Advanced hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Adobe Creative Cloud products
  • Experience with multi‑factor authentication
  • Experience supporting mobile devices
  • Knowledge of PCI Security Requirements
  • Knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)

Location & Hours: This is a full‑time, on‑site position located at our Little Rock, Arkansas headquarters. A high level of attendance is required as an essential function of this position.
