Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Security Analyst to join our IT Cybersecurity Team in East Peoria, IL.

You will deploy, manage and support endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and security automation across Linux, Windows and macOS environments. You will collaborate with Corporate Cybersecurity and business partners to strengthen global security processes, provide technical guidance, and help address evolving threat landscapes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of developing cybersecurity policies, standards and procedures; ability to guide interactions with customers.
• Experience with endpoint security tools and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Support EDR, Identity Management, Vulnerability Management, and related security environments.
• Promote automation for monitoring and remediation of client health issues and security events.
• Collaborate with Corporate Cybersecurity and business partners to understand operations and maintain global security processes.
• Work with engineering, architecture and SOC teams to implement detection logic and improve threat visibility.
• Contribute to automated detection and response capabilities.
• Participate in vulnerability lifecycle management and reporting from external and internal sources.
