Job summary

Luna Data Solutions, Inc. is hiring an SCCM/Endpoint Management Engineer to support a Texas state agency.

You will administer SCCM and Intune, manage software distribution, patching, and compliance across large-scale endpoints, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and reliable deployments. You will develop reports, monitor client health, troubleshoot deployment issues, and contribute to change management and ITIL-aligned processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years hands-on SCCM/Intune/WSUS in enterprise environments.
• 3–5 years managing software deployments, OS updates, security patching, and endpoint compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, endpoint security, and OS internals.
• Networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, and endpoint connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience troubleshooting SCCM client issues, deployment failures, and related infrastructure issues.
• Experience developing custom SCCM reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize SCCM and Intune environments for enterprise endpoint management.
• Manage software distribution, security updates, OS updates, and standard desktop deployments at scale.
• Create, configure, and manage packages, apps, collections, deployments, and task sequences.
• Coordinate software distribution schedules, patch deployments, testing, and change control.
• Develop custom SCCM reports, dashboards, and analytics for compliance and inventory.
• Collaborate with security teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities and compliance risks.
• Provide advanced Tier 3 support for SCCM, Intune, and desktop management platforms.
• Engage with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver deployment solutions aligned with objectives.
