Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a mid-level Malware Analyst to join the Malware Defense Team in Denver. You will triage, analyze, and respond to threats targeting the organization, focusing on email, web, or endpoint vectors.

You will document findings, produce reports, and contribute to improvements in controls and detection mechanisms. A strong investigative mindset and 3–5 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of malware analysis experience in threat prevention (Email/Web/Endpoint).
• Experience with triage, detections, and incident response processes.
• Ability to document findings clearly for varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Respond to real-time threats targeting the organization.
• Perform static, dynamic, and behavioral analysis of malware.
• Maintain detailed analysis reports with recommendations.
• Identify cyber risks and improve controls and detections.
• Collaborate with response teams on incident handling.
