Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a mid-level Malware Analyst to join the Malware Defense Team in Denver, CO. You will respond to real-time threats, perform static and dynamic analysis of malware, and maintain detailed investigative reports.

You should have 3-5 years in threat prevention disciplines (Email/Web/Endpoint), familiarity with sandboxing, EDR, and incident response. This role offers in-office work with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of malware analysis experience in threat prevention disciplines.
• Experience triaging detections, identifying threats, and implementing controls.
• Strong investigative mindset and ability to drive process improvements.
• Experience with Email, Web, or Endpoint threat areas.

Responsibilities

• Respond, triage, and adapt to real-time threats targeting the organization.
• Perform static, dynamic, and behavioral analysis of malware and indicators of compromise.
• Maintain detailed documentation and produce comprehensive reports.
• Identify cyber risks and help improve controls and detection mechanisms.
• Collaborate with response teams to defend against emerging threats and contribute to IR efforts.
