Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an Endpoint Experience Administrator III in the Greater Seattle Area. You will design, build, and operate the Red Hat Linux workstation platform for engineering users, and create automated imaging paths with secure baselines and enrollment workflows.

You will lead cross-team infrastructure efforts, develop reusable automation modules, and mentor others while supporting on-call rotations to ensure reliability and rapid resolution of issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in information systems or computer science.
• Strong Linux system administration experience (RHEL).
• Experience with Windows Server for hosted apps and licenses.
• Proficient in automation and IaC with reusable roles/playbooks (Ansible preferred).
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation.
• Experience provisioning and imaging at scale (network boot, unattended install).
• Active Directory administration and Linux authentication concepts.
• Experience monitoring/alerting and infrastructure troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Linux workstation platform and imaging workflows.
• Develop IaC modules, templates, and patterns for provisioning and configuration.
• Lead cross-team automation and provisioning initiatives.
• Define deliverables and select hardware/software to meet project needs.
• Mentor administrators and engineers; participate in on-call rotation.
• Ensure security baselines, encryption, and policy enforcement via automation.
• Collaborate with security and operations to maintain reliability.
