Job summary

Verigent seeks an Endpoint Engineering Lead to direct the Enterprise Endpoint Infrastructure Management team for a DoW agency, overseeing MECM/SCCM, Intune, imaging, patching, and STIG/compliance across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS. You will own the technical strategy, drive pre-production validation, and serve as a senior engineering authority for enterprise incidents.

You will coordinate with cybersecurity, RMF, and ITSM teams, manage the Digital Twin program, and lead AI/automation initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s or extra experience may substitute.
• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility required to start.
• 10+ years of related experience in enterprise Windows environments and 10,000+ device scale leadership.
• Strong MECM/SCCM and Intune architecture knowledge; Windows Server, AD, GP, virtualization.
• Experience with DISA STIGs, RMF controls, eMASS, and IT governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead endpoint engineering team across MECM/SCCM, imaging, patching, and STIG/compliance.
• Own endpoint engineering roadmap, standards, and pre-production validation practices.
• Develop Digital Twin strategy and implement test-before-deploy governance for significant changes.
• Ensure patch and image compliance, track time-to-remediate, and perform RCA post-incident.
• Lead lab/pre-prod/digital twin environments and evaluate AI/automation opportunities.
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity, RMF, and ITSM teams and provide coaching to Tier II/Deskside.
