Job summary

Hudson Valley Credit Union is seeking an Endpoint Engineer to implement, administer, and troubleshoot end-user technology. You will manage endpoint platforms, device lifecycles, and identity controls to keep devices secure and compliant while delivering a great employee experience.

The role emphasizes hands-on support for end-user devices, proactive remediation, and collaboration with senior engineers to improve service delivery and security posture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years IT experience; degree not substitutable for experience.
  • Minimum 3 years supporting Microsoft technologies and endpoint systems.
  • Experience with Windows application deployment and endpoint management platforms.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 services and applications.
  • Scripting or automation experience, especially PowerShell.
  • Experience with Intune, SCCM, endpoint management, or mobile device management.
  • BigFix administration for software packages, reports, and endpoint management preferred.
  • Experience in a Credit Union, financial institution, or regulated industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Windows desktop/laptop images and device lifecycle processes.
  • Support endpoint management and software deployment using Intune, BigFix, SCCM.
  • Configure and support desktops, laptops, iOS and Android devices; enforce security policies.
  • Support privileged access management and CyberArk onboarding and controls.
  • Troubleshoot escalated incidents related to endpoints, apps, and M365 services.
  • Implement endpoint security measures aligning with policies and compliance.
  • Develop PowerShell scripts and maintain technical docs and operational reports.
  • Collaborate with teams and vendors for upgrades, deployments, and incident response.
  • Stay updated on endpoint management trends and provide guidance to analysts.

Overview

Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Endpoint Engineer. Primary Functions: Support the implementation, administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user technology solutions at Hudson Valley Credit Union. Responsible for supporting endpoint management platforms, device lifecycle processes, identity and access management technologies, and end-user productivity tools. The Endpoint Engineer works closely with senior engineers and technology teams to ensure endpoint devices remain secure, compliant, and operational while delivering a positive employee experience.

The ideal candidate possesses strong technical troubleshooting skills, knowledge of endpoint management technologies, and a commitment to delivering reliable technology solutions and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Build, maintain, and optimize Windows desktop and laptop images, endpoint systems, and device lifecycle processes to ensure devices remain current, secure, compliant, and operational.
  • Support endpoint management, software deployment, patching, remediation, inventory, and health monitoring activities using platforms such as Microsoft Intune, BigFix, SCCM, and other approved technologies.
  • Configure, manage, and support desktop, laptop, iOS, and Android devices, including mobile device management, security policy enforcement, and endpoint compliance requirements.
  • Support privileged access management and identity security controls, including CyberArk privileged account onboarding, access validation, endpoint administration controls, and related compliance activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents involving endpoint devices, applications, endpoint management tools, Microsoft 365 services, authentication, licensing, device registration, synchronization, and related productivity technologies.
  • Assist in implementing endpoint security measures that protect devices from malware, unauthorized access, and other threats while ensuring alignment with organizational security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain basic PowerShell scripts, technical documentation, procedures, configurations, support records, and operational reports related to endpoint inventory, compliance, device health, and service support activities.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, administrators, internal teams, and external vendors to support system upgrades, migrations, technology deployments, major incident response, issue resolution, and service improvement efforts.
  • Stay informed of emerging endpoint management technologies, endpoint security trends, and industry best practices while providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing to support analysts and technicians as needed.
  • Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Aa least 2 years equivalent experience for each undergraduate year not completed; undergraduate degree cannot substitute for minimum number of years of experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field is required.
  • Minimum 3 years' Experience supporting and administering Microsoft technologies and endpoint systems is required.
  • Minimum 2 years' Experience supporting Windows application deployment and endpoint management platforms required.
  • Minimum 1 years' Experience supporting Microsoft 365 services and applications is required.
  • Minimum 1 years' Experience with scripting or automation technologies such as PowerShell required.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Intune, SCCM, endpoint management, or mobile device management platforms required.
  • Bigfix Administration. Creating software packages, reports, and management of endpoints preferred.
  • Experience working within a Credit Union, Financial Institution, or regulated industry preferred.
