Endpoint Analytics Windows Support Engineer

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking qualified candidates for the Endpoint Analytics Windows Support Engineer role in Raleigh, NC. This position may be fully remote for a qualified candidate.

The Endpoint Systems Platform Configuration office requires skilled Windows 10/11 Support Engineers. The primary responsibility is to support all Windows 10/11-related issues, focusing on endpoint analytics and investigating items affecting performance and user experience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Evaluate endpoint analytical data and Windows event/log data to identify workstation performance issues.
• Investigate and resolve root causes of Windows 10/11 issues, including OS problems, software, network, and third-party applications.
• Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years' experience, Master's with 6+ years, or high school diploma/GED with 12+ years.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Deep knowledge of Windows 10/11 OS, features, and architecture.
• Experience installing and configuring Windows on various hardware.
• Understanding of updates, patches, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of network and security protocols, Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, WMI, virtualization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of hardware, firmware, BIOS, device drivers, and OS internals.
• Experience with performance tools, scripting languages, networking, cloud infrastructures, and security concepts.
