Job description

**Responsibilities**

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for all aspects of care related to adult inpatients or outpatients undergoing procedures in the operating room. Applies knowledge of growth and development to perform detailed assignments/interventions. Provides consistent care based on the changing physical and psychosocial needs, unique to each patient.

1. Use of general patient care equipment and communication equipment

2. Sterile Technique

3. Radiation safety

4. Professional telephone and communication skills

5. Ability to adapt to changes in health care technology

6. Effective verbal and written communication skills

7. OR room preparation

8. Use of PPE and safe patient handling Devices

9. Use of unit specific equipment

**Qualifications**

Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology

Active ARRT certification

AHA BLS

**Pay Range**

$25.18 - $36.52 /hour
