Responsibilities
  • Assist with procedures involving adult inpatients or outpatients in the operating room
  • Apply knowledge of growth and development to perform detailed assignments/interventions
  • Provide consistent care tailored to each patient's physical and psychosocial needs
  • Use of general patient care equipment and communication tools
  • Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety protocols
  • Demonstrate professional telephone and communication skills
  • Adapt to changes in healthcare technology
  • Ensure effective verbal and written communication
  • Prepare the operating room
  • Use PPE and safe patient handling devices
  • Operate unit-specific equipment
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Active ARRT certification
