Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is looking for a Radiological Technician for the CVOR Endovascular Lab. This role involves taking radiologic films and assisting physicians during invasive procedures.

Ideal candidates will have graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology school and possess the necessary certifications and licenses. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety and delivering high-quality imaging techniques.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
• Current license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) required.
• Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT-R).

Responsibilities

• Performs special/invasive radiology procedures while ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
• Prepares patients for exams and ensures technical quality of the images.
• Monitors patient data and performs quality assurance on radiology equipment.
• Takes emergency call within the department.

Skills

Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology

Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support

Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT)

Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)
