Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Endoscopy Technician, Surgical Technician, or Sterile Processing program preferred.
• Prior experience in endoscopy or sterile processing preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• CER/FER or equivalent certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinical staff during GI procedures and prep rooms.
• Prepare, maintain, and clean endoscopes and related equipment.
• Perform equipment safety checks and ensure infection control standards are met.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Adhere to healthcare regulations and documentation requirements.
