Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• 1–2 years of healthcare experience in a clinical setting is required.
• Effective organizational, communication and human relations skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with case preparation and gather instruments and supplies.
• Assist in endoscopic procedures and ensure devices are available.
• Maintain aseptic technique and dispose of sharps properly.
• Clean, disinfect, sterilize and store endoscopes and reusable devices.
• Set up appropriate equipment and position patients for procedures.
• Provide clerical support to the department as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
