Job summary

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in Michigan is seeking a dedicated team member for the Endoscopy department. The role is full-time, day shifts, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities Saturday and Sunday every 4th weekend.

The incumbent will support endoscopy procedures, assist physicians, and ensure accurate scheduling and documentation in Meditech. A CNA certification is desirable, with a strong focus on compassionate patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to reach hospital within one hour for weekend on-call duties.
• GTS certificate obtained within six months (if applicable).
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates endoscopy equipment and sterilization processes.
• Assists physician during gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and PEG procedures.
• Maintains accurate Meditech scheduling and documentation for Endoscopy.
• Prioritizes patient care and communicates professionally with staff and patients.
