Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Plymouth campus is seeking a Part-time CNA to support Endoscopy/GI procedures. The role involves preparing the procedure area, assisting during procedures, documenting data, and upholding infection control standards.

Shifts are 8 hours in the day with start times 7a/8a/9a, Monday through Saturday with on-call as required. Required CNA license or EMT license or Medical Assistant program, BLS, and the ability to lift up to 50–100 lbs.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of infection control and disinfection protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Stamina to stand for long periods and lift 50–100 lbs as required.
• Strong communication and customer service etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and technical support during endoscopic procedures.
• Prepares the procedure area with all supplies and equipment.
• Documents patient and procedure information accurately and promptly.
• Maintains infection control, PPE usage and sterile processing.
• Assists with patient transport, positioning, and post-procedure care.
• Supports stock, ordering, and equipment maintenance as needed.
