Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks an experienced CNA/tech to provide patient care and endoscopy support in a fast-paced environment. You will prepare the procedure area, assist with patient transport, and ensure sterile processing and documentation are completed accurately.

The role requires strong attention to detail, infection control knowledge, BLS, and the ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant responsibilities and knowledge
• Able to pay attention to detail, follow instructions (written and verbal)
• Knowledge of infection control, cleaning and disinfection protocols
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and as a team member
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods
• Proper body mechanics and safe patient transport understanding
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and technical endoscopy support under physician direction
• Prepares procedure area with diagnostic and therapeutic supplies
• Assesses equipment condition and procedure area readiness
• Documents patient and procedure data in electronic records
• Follows infection control protocols for instruments and supplies
• Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy
• Assists with patient transport, stocking, and sterilization tasks
• Wears PPE and participates in LEAN process improvement initiatives
• Complies with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
