Job summary

St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician 2 to join the Endoscopy team in a full-time capacity. This role focuses on identifying and securing instrumentation for endoscopy procedures and assisting with procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 6 months relevant experience required.
• GI Technical Specialist (GTS) certification preferred
• Current BLS certification from recognized body (AHA/ASHI/Red Cross) preferred

Responsibilities

• Assesses and anticipates case needs and prepares procedure carts and rooms.
• Maintains and cleans equipment and supplies.
• Assists in performing invasive endoscopic procedures.
• Performs cleaning and high-level disinfection of endoscopes and re-processors; maintains service and repair logs.
• Maintains inventory and orders endoscopy equipment and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.
