Job summary

St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician 2 to join the Endoscopy team in a full-time role. The position involves identifying and securing instrumentation for endoscopy procedures and assisting during procedures.

Responsibilities include preparing rooms, maintaining supplies, performing high-level disinfection, and inventory management for endoscopy equipment. SGNA GTS certification and BLS are required. St.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Licenses/Certifications: GI Technical Specialist (GTS) through the SGNA.
• Current BLS Provider Certification through recognized organizations.

Responsibilities

• Set up carts and procedure rooms, prepare and anticipate case needs.
• Prepare, maintain and clean equipment and supplies.
• Assist in performing invasive endoscopic procedures.
• Maintain endoscope re-processing equipment and logs; conduct high level disinfection.
• Inventory and restock endoscopy equipment and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.
