Job summary

Intermountain Health in Park City, UT is seeking an Endoscopy Technician I to support basic endoscopic procedures under a Registered Nurse supervision. Qualifications

• BLS certification for healthcare providers required.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Performs entry-level, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
• Assembles, prepares, and sets up equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Assists with turnover and ensures proper reprocessing of equipment.
• Maintains safety and infection control standards.
• Participates in safety protocols and time-outs.
• Assists with sterile processing and instrument handling as needed.
• Operates equipment in various procedural settings including ICU and OR.
• Anticipates needs of provider, RN, and patient.
• Prepares equipment for emergent procedures and assists with post-procedure cleanup.
• Safely transports inpatients between departments.
