Job summary

Intermountain Health Logan Regional Hospital is seeking an Endoscopy Technician I to support routine and emergency endoscopic procedures under RN supervision. You will prepare equipment, assist with ERCP/EGD/colonoscopy, and participate in room turnover while maintaining strict safety and infection control standards.

This entry-level role involves on-call and occasional weekend shifts, with a focus on patient care and teamwork within the Endoscopy Team Safety Plan.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required for healthcare providers and HS diploma or GED.
• Experience in endoscopy or procedural settings preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs entry-level support for diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
• Sets up equipment and supplies per procedure type and provider requirements; uses ProVation for imaging/documentation.
• Assists with room turnover and ensures equipment is reprocessed or sent to sterile processing.
• Maintains safety and infection prevention standards, including high-level disinfection of instruments.
• Safely handles specimens and adheres to time-out and safety protocols.
• Transports inpatients between departments as needed and assists with emergent cases.
