The GI Associate acts as a first assistant to the physicians, handles and reprocesses instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the procedure, anticipates the needs of the physician and team, and has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care. In addition, the GI Associate functions as a resource for difficult procedures, troubleshoots equipment problems, maintains supply inventories, is a role model for service management, participates in quality improvement activities on the unit, complies with regulatory agency requirements, and responds to emergency situations as directed by the RN. This role includes assignments in other ancillary/technical roles within Perioperative Services as needed.**Salary Range**$17.97 - $27.16*Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role.
