Responsibilities

• Assist the physician and RN in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
• Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment and supplies.
• Transport the patient and support patient care under RN supervision.
• Act as first assistant to physicians; reprocess instruments and supplies.
• Troubleshoot equipment and monitor supply inventories; participate in quality improvement.
