Job summary

Pride-Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician for a 40-hour weekday schedule in Salem, MA. Monday–Friday, 7:15a–3:45p, with rotating 8a–4:30p shifts. Open weekdays with on-call evenings, weekends and holidays. Unit: Endoscopy GI/ENDO Tech; 18 PACU bays and 8 procedural rooms.

Required: 1–2 years of GI endoscopy experience; Olympus scope setup; handling and reprocessing. Clinical ratios 1:1 in rooms; EMR: EPIC. Certifications SGNA or CBSPD preferred.

Qualifications

• GI Endoscopy experience required (1–2 years).
• Olympus scope setup and handling.
• Reprocessing of scopes to SOP.

*** Endoscopy Tech 40hrs. Days *** Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:15a-3:45p w/ a Rotating Day of 8a-4:30p. Unit Name:Endoscopy GI/ENDO Tech.Brief Unit Description: 8 rooms. 3 MAC, 5 Conscious Sedation procedures, holding and recovery rooms. Open weekdays, with on-call for Eves, Nights, Weekends and Holidays.Years of Experience Required: minimum of 1-2 years.Skill Sets Required: GI Technician Endoscopy, Olympus scope set-up; handling and reprocessing.Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:1 in rooms; 1:2/3 in PACU.Patient Population: All.Bed Count: 18 PACU bays, 8 procedural rooms.Census: 60-70 procedures per day.EMR (Charting System): EPIC.Floating Required: No.Rotating Shifts Required: Yes, depending on hours, department is open 6:30am-5:30 pm.Certifications Required: SGNA or CBSPD are preferred.
