Job summary

UVA Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support endoscopic exams across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will ensure equipment, supplies, and technical support throughout procedures, and you will rotate between procedure rooms and scope reprocessing.

No endoscopy certification is required at hire; training and certification support are provided after onboarding, with scheduled education and vendor-led training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year or relevant experience preferred.
• No-endoscopy certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic examinations and interventions.
• Disinfect and reprocess endoscopic scopes.
• Rotate between procedure room assignments and scope room responsibilities.
• Support scope transport and cross-team collaboration.
