Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to assist the Endoscopist during procedures and support patient care from infancy to elderly. The role includes scope reprocessing with high-level disinfectants and contributing to a safe, efficient endoscopy service.

The technician works within a multidisciplinary team, applying knowledge of GI scopes and collaboration with GI physicians. On-call responsibilities are required as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• 2-3 years of relevant endoscopy experience.
• Working knowledge of GI scopes and GI physician collaboration.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Endoscopist during procedures for patients of all ages.
• Handle scope reprocessing and use high-level disinfectants.
• Provide age-appropriate care from infant to elderly.
