Allegheny Health Network is seeking a patient-focused Endoscopy Support Technician to assist under the supervision of the Endoscopist and Registered Nurse during GI-endoscopic procedures.
You will help prepare the procedure room, handle endoscopic equipment, and participate in reprocessing instrumentation after procedures, while maintaining clear communication with patients and the health care team.
Acts under the direction of the Endoscopist and/or Registered Nurse during endoscopic procedures. May assist the RN in technical aspects of circulating duties.
High school diploma / GED or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Associate's degree in health-related field.
Prior GI-endoscopy experience.
